Taryn has been a vital part of the CG&A staff since 2008. She handles all of the bookkeeping, including accounts payable, receivables and account budget management, and she brings her expert-level QuickBooks Pro skills to the team.

After graduating college in Florida in 1997, Taryn relocated to Chicago. She landed a position in the administrative office of a video production company, and her career was born. Since then, she’s provided administrative management and financial support for advertising, public television and manufacturing companies, helped launch Time Out Chicago’s finance department and worked as a freelance bookkeeper for a wide range of small businesses. Her budget management and cash forecasting skills, ability to develop new and efficient systems, and strong attention to detail and organization have helped many a small company grow and succeed— as well as adhere to client budgets. She continues that trend as a permanent member of CG&A.

In her off time, Taryn handles sales and marketing (and of course, the finances) for a local women’s accessories line. Her husband is a musician and recording engineer, and they are both heavily involved in the Chicago music scene. They are happily residing in Humboldt Park with their kids – their two cats and a dog.
