As a senior project director at CG&A, Scott is involved with an assortment of marketing and nonprofit clients. Most recently, Scott has served as campaign manager for the Donate Life Illinois coalition on behalf of Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network. His work with Gift of Hope, to increase organ/tissue donor registrations in Illinois, has received the coveted Publicity Club of Chicago Quality of Life Award (2008) along with nine other national and international awards.

Scott has also worked extensively with the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, Illinois Bureau of Tourism, Charter One Bank, Carfax, Chicago Transit Authority and the Southwest Home Equity Assurance Program. In addition to campaign management, he provides client and media relations, social media and marketing expertise, advertising creative, event coordination, video and Web site support services and is a reliable idea-generator in brainstorming sessions.

He arrived at CG&A with a strong communications and marketing background. He previously served as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy assisting with event coordination, government media relations and editorial duties for the weekly base publication. Following his time in the service, he took over publicity and marketing duties at an independent record label, formulating a strategic PR campaign that dramatically increased overall exposure and subsequent sales for the label.

Scott graduated with university and departmental honors from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications. In his spare time, you’ll find Scott updating his Social Media Snippets blog, listening to old episodes of “This American Life”, at a local rock show, strumming the guitar, swinging a golf club or framing his next landscape photo.
