Nick Urig
Project Director

Nick uses well-developed writing skills and creative strategies to bring clients’ communication goals to life. Currently, he directs the Donate Life Illinois campaign on behalf of Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network to increase organ/tissue donor registrations in Illinois. Nick focuses on media placement, online community building, public outreach and paid media for the state-wide campaign. A former CG&A intern, Nick also assists with intern recruitment and coordination for the firm.

Nick has provided project support to the Illinois Bureau of Tourism, The Trust for Public Land, Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights and CG&A’s marketing team. Prior to joining CG&A, Nick supported the advance team at the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland by co-managing their annual fundraiser and generating substantial media coverage for the event. He also assisted the TriHealth Hospital System of Cincinnati’s Corporate Communications department with employee communications, brochure writing and media tracking.

Nick graduated with high honors from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and spent a semester abroad studying at the London Metropolitan University.
