Midge Dinou
Vice President, Public Relations

As vice president of public relations, Midge takes the lead on nonprofit, government and business communications campaigns.  Midge and her team work on public relations strategies and implementation in traditional media, as well as new and emerging online media platforms, for organizations such as the Trust for Public Land, The Illinois Office of Tourism and Cotter Consulting Inc.

Midge’s expertise in public relations and communications strategies for the nonprofit sector stems from her past work and volunteer experience. Midge worked in external affairs for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, where she developed national public information and communications campaigns and publications.

Midge has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Marquette University with a Minor in French. She also has a French Language Certificate from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.  She is currently on the board of Women in Transportation and serves as Communications Co-Chair.  She has also volunteered for several organizations, including the Employment Project and the National Runaway Switchboard.
