Margarite Wypychowski
Vice President, Public Affairs

As Vice President for Public Affairs, Margarite has managed successful legislative and regulatory campaigns for clients on issues ranging from Medicaid coverage to airport expansion to telecommunications policy. Most recently, she managed a public affairs campaign to pass the first-ever police and fire pension reform bill in Illinois and oversaw communication strategy for the Northstar Lottery Group in its successful bid to become the first-ever private manger of the Illinois Lottery.
Prior to joining CG&A in 2000, Margarite honed her skills in communicating public policy issues at the Metropolitan Planning Council.
Margarite graduated from DePaul University with a B.A. in English and political science and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public policy. As part of her graduate studies, she participated in a European Union/NATO seminar in Brussels and an international policy analysis class in Dublin.
In her local community, Margarite volunteers as a tutor at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls and formerly served on the board of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill – Greater Chicago chapter.
