Katie focuses primarily on CG&A marketing, branding, social
media and creative services. Along with a thorough understanding of
messaging and project/campaign management, Katie brings experience
in strategy, presentation and material development. In addition to
her involvement with internal marketing, Katie works extensively
with the Illinois Bureau of Tourism to promote travel in Illinois
through an integrated social media campaign.
Prior to joining CG&A, Katie headed the communications
efforts of Nonprofits Assistance Fund in Minneapolis. In this
position she raised awareness of the organization through Web site
development, media relations, event coordination and outreach to
local nonprofits. Previously, Katie worked at Minneapolis-based PR
firm, Padilla Speer Beardsley, for two years and was a member of
the technology team. During this time, she also served as a board
member for Minnesota Computers for Schools.
Katie graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas in
St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing
management. During her free time, she writes for Gapers Block and
is a member of Human Rights Watch Chicago Network's young
professionals committee.
