Beth joined the firm in 1997. She manages CG&A's finances, human resources, office administration and contractual agreements. She also oversees the computer network operations and is involved in developing both the concept and content of the CG&A Web site. During her tenure at CG&A, she's handled the logistical growth of the firm as it evolved from a four-person to an fifteen-person team. Beth also stays on top of each client project, keeping a close eye on budget and contract adherence.
With a background in public relations writing, Beth takes on the occasional special project as well. For example, she teamed with a committee of several local health care activists to publicize and create support for the Bernardin Amendment referendum, which called on the state legislature to institute universal health care coverage in Illinois. More recently, she rallied local restaurants, bars and musicians to support and help pass the American Cancer Society's Smoke-Free Chicago ordinance.
Prior to joining CG&A, Beth was public relations writer and manager at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Chicago.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is also a local musician, active in several independent musical projects. She recently completed performance tours of the U.S. and Europe.
