Jensen & Halstead, a Chicago-based architecture firm established in 1868, hired CG&A to re-brand the firm after a change in leadership. The new partners wanted a fresh brand identity, new marketing materials and a consistent message to target healthcare and senior living organizations.

CG&A conducted message development, strategy sessions and market research, helping to reposition Jensen & Halstead as a leader of innovative design with a strong heritage and deep roots in Chicago architecture. CG&A designed and managed the firm’s re-branding strategy, which included an overhaul of the firm’s brand identity, marketing materials, Web site and comprehensive proposal system.

The firm has since doubled in size and, in 2006, acquired Studio One Design, a Chicago-based space planning and interior design firm. Using the same approach, CG&A developed a brand identity and strategy that incorporated Studio One Design into Jensen & Halstead’s existing brand platform.

The new identity was also an inspiration for the interior design of Jensen & Halstead’s new office, which was acquired to accommodate the growth of the firm.
